Research Question
The topic that has been chosen for the research is “The impact of leadership style on employee satisfaction and performance in the warehouses”. There are four research questions that have been developed in this context.
- How does the style of communication of the managers impact the productivity and the motivation of the employees working in a warehouse?
- Is the behavior of the managers important in increasing or decreasing the job satisfaction of the employees and the how it influences the turnover rate of the employees?
- Does the behavior of the manager impact the psychological welfare of the employees?
- Does the recognition and feedback that are given by the managers helpful in organizational success as well as team cohesion?
Methodology
This research study has done the primary research for the collection of data regarding the topic that how the leadership style impact on employees' satisfaction and the performance in the warehouse. The primary data collection method has helped this research study to collect or gather the data directly from the source (Borgstede and Scholz, 2021). This primary research has provided the accurate and the up to date information for the research study. This has provided the specific information which is related to the objectives of the research.
The primary research has helped this study to gather effective data that are relevant to the specific research questions. The collected data are not influenced by any previous research bias. This has also helped the research study to keep control over the data. This helped the study select the specific size as well as demographics (Abulela and Harwell, 2020). The primary research has helped the study to customize the study based on specific needs.
The study collected the quantitative data using the interview. The survey has been done on the 50 employees of the 2 different warehouses. The 50 employees have been chosen on the basis of their age group which belongs from 25 to 60. Both the male and female employees have been chosen as the sample size. The survey has helped to gather the quantitative data.
The quantitative data have helped this research study to gather factual information from the sample. This has also collected the reliable data based on numerical assumptions. The quantitative data have helped in the analysis of the study; this also helped the study to identify the key findings of the research. This helped the research study to gather the numerical based data.
The study has also collected the numerical data in an efficient way. The quantitative data has helped this study to do an in-depth analysis of the research (Apuke, 2017). The research study has used the survey method for the collection of the data. The survey used a close-ended questionnaire. The survey has helped this research study reach a wide range of people via specific questions. This also helped the study to maintain the flexibility of the research.
The survey also encouraged the participants to provide their honest review that helped the research study to gather the specific data, and that also provided the accurate data. The close-ended questions are provided the accurate data that are easy to analyze. The close-ended questions also helped the research study meet its objectives.

- Are you satisfied with the management style that is used by your manager in this warehouse?
- Will you agree that the managers in your workplace communicate with you frequently and ask for your opinions?
- Do you feel that you receive any positive criticism or positive feedback from your managers and does it impact your personal growth?
- Do you feel that the managers in your workplace provide you with adequate support when faced with deadlines and management of workload?
- Have you experienced any problem while managing and resolving conflicts with the managers in your warehouse?
- Does your manager demonstrate any form of appreciation or praise for the deployment of skills and appropriately completing the work in the warehouse?
- Does all the members working in the warehouse are treated with equal respect by the managers?
Analysis
According to the opinions of the employees of two different warehouses, the research study has made a finding and the result. According to the result of the analysis, 80 employees believe that the leadership has the several positive impacts that make the employees satisfied and also help in their performance of the employees (Khan et al., 2020). The analysis has helped to understand that the different leadership style helps the employees to set clear goals and also helped to meet their expectations as well.
The leadership styles also create a supportive environment for the employees, and that encourages the employees to perform better and work in collaboration. They agreed that the leadership style in their organizations provides a supportive work environment for the benefit of the organization as well as the employees (Pasaribu et al., 2022). A positive environment also promotes motivation among the employees and makes their performances better.
According to the opinions of the employees of the both organizations, the leadership also provides development-based coaching and training to the employees (Nur and Widhi, 2019). That also increases the level of job satisfaction of the employees. They also said that the leadership styles make the employees feel valued in their organizations and encourage them to perform better. The leadership also keeps their beliefs in the employees and tries to keep the employees always satisfied. On the other hand, the survey result also provides another aspect where the employees believe that leadership styles do not always help them in their performances. 20% of employees believe that sometimes the different leadership styles do not give or set the clear goals for employees of the organizations and that negatively impacts the employee performance (Muhdar et al., 2022).
They also believe that leaders who do not communicate effectively with the employees that create hindrances for the employees to perform their work effectively. Based on their opinions they have analyzed that the lack of support of leaders negatively affects the employees' performance and also creates restrictions on organizational growth.
